The morning prayer has been borrowed from Mahabharata. The prayer is recited collectively during the morning assembly as a way to start the day with a sense of unity, gratitude, and spiritual reflection. Meaning in English: May all be happy, May all be healthy. May all see auspiciousness, May none experience suffering.
The students also recite nation anthem and national song. The ‘Jana Gana Mana’ song is written in Bengali and in a Sanskritized dialect known as Sadhu Bhasha. It was written and composed by Rabindranath Tagore, a renowned poet, philosopher, and Nobel laureate.
‘Vande Mataram’ is known as the National Song of our country. Utterance of the words ‘Vande Mataram’ gave freedom fighters and the common public the strength to withstand lathi blows on their heads and whiplashes on their open bodies. Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay was the author of Vande Matara.
I have been teaching since 2010. I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. I started my teaching career in Varanasi. When I moved my family back to Gaya, I went to work in Krish Play School. As my family grew and we moved into Gaya I moved to Krish Play School. Before I was a teacher, I worked in the school as trainee. I truly love teaching and am excited about all the learning experiences each child has throughout the year!
